Chapter Nineteen STEPPING INTO ANOTHERââ¬â¢S CHAOS ââ¬Å"Then Peter said, ââ¬ËSilver or gold I do not have, but what I do have I give you. When all the people saw him walking and praising God, they recognized him as the same man who used to sit begging at the temple gate called Beautiful, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to himâ⬠Acts 3:6-10 NIV It is amazing how God uses some small, insignificant encounter in our lives to bring a mightyâ⬠¦show more contentâ⬠¦By this time it was already 10:00 a.m. The service had already started and we had an hour drive ahead of us. We had to hurry. I would be taken to the platform to preach as soon as we got there. In a split second, I went from feeling relaxed to a feeling of ââ¬Å"Oh my!â⬠We rushed to the car and my driver sped away. I had never been to the city or the church where they were taking me. I knew nothing about it or even how this last minute decision happened. I laughed inside as I contemplated how one goes from not speaking to speaking in the blink of an eye. I just smiled and asked the Lord to give me something to share. We arrived about an hour after the service had started. We walked into a church filled with a few hundred people. I was escorted up front and within a couple of minutes they gave me the microphone to preach. The Lord provided me a message to preach and at the conclusion of the message I invited people to come forward for ministry. Many came forward seeking a touch from God. The Holy Spirit moved in power as I prayed for the needs of the people. The broken hearted were healed and captives delivered from the grips of demons. After I had finished praying for the last person, some people approached me and asked if I would pray for a friend. I agreed and enquired about their friendââ¬â¢s need.
